Welcome to International Makaton Awareness Day 2026!

Each year on 28th August, we celebrate this special day. This years theme is “The Power of Together”.

Makaton builds wonderful friendships for people of all abilities from sharing a smile and signing “Hello” to singing with others. It plays an important part of our daily lives.

The Tree Tops team will be learning Makaton over the next few weeks, and it’s none other than our lovely Ellen who will be guiding us every step of the way! Watch out for our journey
