Dawn Dunn, MD at Tree Tops started a Sensory Parent Support Group in October 2014.  We are also affiliated with the Star Foundation in the USA.

The group meets every 6-8 weeks giving parents a chance to talk openly and privately about the children, swapping tips and strategies whilst enjoying light refreshments.  We also organise events with our children and their siblings.

We sometimes have guest speakers and now have three Patrons:-

• Dawn Dunn DIP COT, Managing Director of Tree Tops Children’s Occupational Therapy – sensory based
• Professor Julian (Joe) Elliott, Principal Collingwood College, Durham University – education
• Rt Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP Berwick upon Tweed – has a son diagnosed with ASD
