Working With Families
Tree Tops Children’s Occupational Therapy has qualified Occupational Therapists who have extensive experience of working with children over many years.
We see children with a range of disorders who may have a specific diagnosis or may not fit the criteria for one.
We pride ourselves in helping children and families by:
- Identifying the cause of your child’s difficulties
- Informing parents/carers in a clear concise way
- Offering therapy treatments to address difficulties
We offer a range of affordable treatments:
- Direct treatment, either individually or within a group
- Home treatment
- School programme
- Therapeutic listening programme
- Specialised handwriting programme (handwriting without tears or perceptual motor programme)
- Sensory diet programme
- Sleep programme
- After School Club
Treatments can therefore focus on a specific area for example handwriting or address a number of issues, depending on your child’s needs. This can be further discussed with our team.
Children benefit enormously from our programmes. Activities are fun and easy to implement within your home environment.
Treatment not only develops your child’s core movement skills, but also helps with every aspect of his/her life. By improving a child’s gross and fine motor function an improvement takes place in the child’s academic skills from attention, listening, reading and writing.
We believe every child should have the opportunity to access our service as through intervention we see improvements in children’s emotional well being, confidence and motivation. Ultimately as life becomes easier all aspects of the child’s life will improve.
To arrange an appointment with us, please download and complete our Assessment Request Form and return by email to hello@
