Sensory motor assessments and SI sessions are based on the following:

Assessments

Our assessments vary depending on your child and their presentation. We use standardised assessments and clinical observations to identify your child’s area of strength, difficulties and how these are affecting both their home life and academic performance. The assessments are adapted accordingly based on your child’s age and ability. Our reports can also support your child’s EHCP.

SI Sessions

Activities within our clinic are play-orientated for your child which includes equipment such as swings, trampolines, slides, deep pressure, brushing, weighted vests and much more. These provide vestibular, proprioceptive, auditory and tactile stimuli which organises the sensory system and aids calming/self-regulation.

Our bespoke home programme is also used to consolidate your child’s progress from the clinic.

Our Tree Toppers always have fun in the assessments and sessions 😊
