Developing your child’s skills

At Tree Tops, our OTs and OTAs love to use an obstacle course as it supports engagement and develops lots of different skills, including motor planning, sequencing, balance, and problem solving. For those reluctant to engage in fine motor tasks, these can be incorporated too, such as maintaining a tight grip with tongs to develop hand strength to support handwriting and using cutlery.
